Cat Bar Vegan in Barcelona

Located right in the middle of the city, I can understand they're annoyed with tourists. Who likes tourists, really? Anyways, we had the best burgers so far in Barcelona, and I highly doubt they'll be beaten. Friendly and helpful staff and of course I love cats (and Catalonia).

5 significant vegan burgers. The ones I've tried where really good and flavorful. The patatas bravas are the best in town. The sauce is excellent. Big variety of draft beers. The staff is friendly. The food is a bit pricey.

A real unique and hipster experience where I immediately felt comfortable. The bartender was very down to earth and they had great beer and cider selections. My partner and I drew cat drawings and hung them up next to the other crazy drawings of cats on the wall. Real cool.

Awesome vegan burgers in Born area! They have about 6 burgers to choose and approximately the same amount of craft beers.

One of the best veggie burgers I’ve ever had, and the potatoes are great as well. Big portions and good beer, too.

CatBar Barcelona was the first dinner we had in Barcelona and we weren't disappointed! Portion sizes amazing and all the food pictured for €14 each. Patas Bravas was very good and the beer and wine choices were great. Worth a visit!

Very friendly service and super relaxed atmosphere. She let me taste all the beers I wanted to taste, and 3€ for a half pint (28cl) 8% locally brewed IPA is actually really cheep. Had the Black Cat burger and exoected a bean patty, but was very surprised by the texture. Unlike any vegan burger I ever had. Very cool place, highly recommend to check it out!

This place feels like home. The burgers are excellent and the patatas bravas are perfection. The bar has 9 lives, I mean 9 taps, of great beer in steady rotation. Bartenders are friendly and happy to offer a taste of any beer that interests you. It's comfortable and casual. No air con, no reservations, probably no cats. But maybe a dog. And definitely some happiness.

This is a vegan beer and burger cafe - burger, patatas bravas and salad were all great! Really reasonable prices and great service.

Different types of unique hamburgers to choose with different and original sources. All of them delicious, yummy and of high quality. Moreover, huge variety of beer to choose. Perfect vegan burgers! Very recommend the Mexican, if I like spicy.For starter we took the Hummus and it was tasty!The place was really hot and there wasn't air-condition.. That wasn't nice, but the food was perfect.

We had the green burger, and the main one. Both were absolutely delicious, but we both preferred the green as it was extraordinary. Bravas potatoes were incredible, and all their vegan sauces were amazing. Truely a gem of a place, and a must visit for any vegan looking for a quick bite or a burger joint. The ordering system is a bit strange, as you have to go to the bar to order everything, pay for it and then sit down and wait for it. Which is ok, just different.

One of my favourite vegan places on the city. This is a cozy and small bar that serves vegan burguers. My favourite one is the champion one. It's the best vegan burguer I've ever tried! Their patatas are pretty tasty too and the menu is really worthy for its price! Around 10 euros all! They also serve nice beers here and they speak English.

Burgers are amazing and the price is pretty ok, potatoes are nice. Craft beers and fritz colas, plus a piano that anybody can play! There's even a secret VIP floor!

Awesome service (we just love Daniella (smart, informative and very nice)), amazing food, and incredible atmosphere. One of my best dining experiences during my one-week stay in Barcelona. The vegan burger with potatoes and one of their fancy sodas really hits the spot and provides sustained energy for a day of exploring Barcelona.

Used to be amazing- food is still on top but recently any time I've been in there has been no music or background noise.... zero ambience during lunch time. Such a shame because the burgers are super delicious but the complete silence is so off-putting, used to be a great hangout spot. I wont be rushing back.

My husband and I, personally, didn't enjoy the food or environment at all. We ordered the cider and it tasted terrible, it tasted very vinegary and just rancid. We think it may have gone bad. I don't think I was able to take more than three sips. The burgers were just ok, but the potatoes were old, soggy and oily. The place itself looked just messy, but to be fair maybe that's the feel they're going for and it wasn't dirty. That being said, staff were very friendly so no complaints there.

Very nice food, I had the Mexican burger and just the patty alone was tasty and textured without having to rely on the other elements (which were also great). Served in a fresh toasted bun with relish, side salad and patatas bravas. English speaking staff, quirky interior and relaxed atmosphere. Only could have done with a bit of music but a very a minor detractor.

As a non vegan I was taken here by a friend and it was was everything I like about exploring new cities, quirky, interesting and unexpectedly good. I had the spicy bean burger, which was delicious and also tried a couple of the beers from the surprisingly large selection. All round it was one of the highlights in my trip to Barcelona and I'd definitely return for more.

Got the Vegan Red(spicy) burger with potatoes, was around 3pm, pretty casual. Spanish/English bar hostess who helped me order. Not too busy but was a decent amount of people there too. The vegan burger was one of the best I've had around the city from trying other vegan burgers. Decent spicy but not overwhelming, potatoes were good too and served with some interesting redish creamy sauce. Will definitely go back to try another one soon.

Very tasty burgers and good beer (they have a kind of manual pump to serve it, which I thought added a cute touch). I visited this place with non vegans teenagers who were all very surprised about how good it was and said they would definitely have it again! Also, the staff was very friendly. Overall a great experience :) Keep up the good work guys👏

Small bar with outstanding food! They have a quite small selection of burgers which you order by filling in a prepared menu card, handing it over at the bar and directly paying. We tried the mushroom and the "crazy" burger and both of them were delicious! Lovely fluffy hand made bread rolls, great patties and nice side salad. Also the patatas bravas were fresh, crisp and served with the potato skins still on. I totally recommend this place! Loved the vegan menu and the atmosphere there!

Very friendly staff.Very good burger, tasty fries, and fresh salad.I am only deducting 1 star because of a somewhat gloomy atmosphere. But then again, we were so fortunate to have a live piano performance during our visit so I am adding back 1 star for the atmosphere:)

I've only been here once. The last time I was in Barcelona. Now I am back, again, and I can hardly wait to get back here.Good food, great servers who are determined to make you feel you are the most important person in the world. And of course, you are, so fair's fair. Go there if you want confirmation that you are a super person and also if you want some really fine tasting food. It will not disappoint.

Lovely food but not impressed with customer service. waitress/barmaid seemed more interested in talking to her friend rather than serving. Shame as that's the only reason we didn't go back

What a wonderful vegan restaurant/ bar. Had a good selection of micro brews and burgers. The staff was friendly and spoke several languages (including english) - just like the menus. Would definitely come back. Burger cooked perfectly and the potatoes had a wonderful sauce... all around a great dinner.

Yes, the burger is HUGE. Why hasn't anyone though of this before? Not all vegans ( or anyone else) want bland & pious grab & tasteless chemical beer. Don't order extra patatas- they come already.There might be a wait and a squeeze but if you're lucky some one will talented be tinkling the ivories as on my last visit.
